Great all around shoe
By HIking shoe buyerVerified Reviewer from Phoenix, AZ on 10/19/2009
Pros:
Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot
Best Uses:
All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
Describe Yourself:
Adventure traveler, Recreational Walker/Hiker
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Great all-around shoe. I took this on a trip to Southern Africa and wore almost every day--took the place of athletic shoes and hiking boots. Good traction and support. Were lightweight, comfortable and easy to take off. They were fine with orthodics. Just bought another pair for a gift.

By Morning Moose from Palmdale, CA on 09/19/2009
Pros:
Comfortable/No Break-In
Best Uses:
Mixed Terrain
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Walker/Hiker
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I have used my Symbios on hikes with bulky socks to make the fit better. I especially like the absence of seams and the ease of tightening up or loosening with the lace system. I'm going to add my dirty girl gators with the Symbios for the dirty trails here in the desert.

Comments:
I have owned these just two weeks and have already hiked in them on three different occasions, including one difficult 12 mile hike. They are so comfortable! No blisters, no break in time, no rubbing. The quick laces are great and don't slip at all. The price on these was outstanding. All in all, a great shoe at a great price.

We bought these boots for me to take to Alaska. I hiked up a couple mountains, played on a glacier and did many trails. They were the only shoes I wore and not once did my feet sweat or hurt! They were great!

I was helping a friend pack and move. The first day I wore my trusty sneaks... comfortable but horrible traction. That evening these shoes arrived; I wore them for the next day of packing/moving -- PERFECT TIMING!!! I LOVE THESE SHOES.

This is my 3rd pair and the only shoe that works perfect right away with no break in time. Also looks nice so can be worn for other occasions, but only in the black color.
