By DD from San Antonio, TX on 05/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe was comfy, not as rigid as I like though and the exterior single material "skin" looked odd to me, looks kinda like my down slippers. Did not like the look, too different for me.
By CC from Laramie, WY on 05/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for walking around the neighborhood every day and every type of weather. Since there are no paved roads, I needed something water proof, and something to grab because of the slippery, muddy conditions. It is definitely a good shoe for this purpose, but after a saturation point, my socks get damp and uncomfortable. The shoes do dry out very quickly once you take them off, so they're always ready for the next day.

By Hiking Dog Mom from Indianapolis, IN on 05/07/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent Best Uses: Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Most comfortable shoe I've had in a long time. Love the "give" the soft shell has around the toes. The do run a little long - I'm usually a size 9 - could have taken an 8.5 in these.
I'd give these 10 stars if you had them By Happy Old Feet from Trout Creek, MT on 04/26/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had these boots on for a prolonged hike, but for the quick walk-abouts they were so comfortable I just didn't take them off for the rest of the day. I love the slide-release. No more double knotting. I wish I had found these boots years ago.
By dd from Atas, CA on 04/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Originally found these shoes at a local store going out of business. I liked them so much I jumped at the chance to pick these up. This pair is water resistent, unlike my previous pair. These have a nicer sole, are lighter and less clunky than tennis shoes. Best of all - no laces! If I have to get up to take the dog out, I just slip these on nice and easy.
By player of the outdoors from Chicago, IL on 04/20/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Gym Rat, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased the bright green colored ones and they are a bit ugly, but soooo comfortable. I found myself wearing them around my house and not wanting to take them off. The size is 1/2 smaller, so that I usually wear a 9, but the 8 1/2 fit perfectly.
By Mac Addict from San Diego CA on 04/20/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: Grass, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn hiking. I'm gonna get another pair for my High Sierra hiking trip.
By eli se va! from St. Louis, MO on 04/15/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Easy tie, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: At The Gym, Everyday Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wasn't sure that I would like the 'zip tie' laces, but they actually hold well and are easy for quick runs out the door. Also love the super smooshy supports. It feels like my feet are surrounded by small airbags. My only concern is how durable the soft shell exterior will be. I do a fair bit of hiking on and off trail, so I'm wondering if stepping on a single sharp stick will do these in.
