Overall a good shoe. Not a whole lot of cushion in the soles so I wouldn't use them when carrying additional weight or on rough trails. Good for dayhiking.

Cons:
Not Water Resistant
Best Uses:
Day Hiking, Everyday, Light Loads
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments:
I use this shoe for work. I am an Arborist for the city of Missoula ,MT. I hike on very uneven terrain, climb trees, drag brush, ect... The shoes are pretty good for these activities. They are not H2O proof but I do not need that anyway. They are easy to break-in and form to my foot well. I paid [$] for the shoes, for that price they are great at full price I would not get these I would find something on sail instead but[$] is a great price.

So far Asolo has been true to size from style to style, which helps eliminate the guessing when ordering online. I have a similar style in the same size with Gore-Tex for wet weather.

Comments:
The Shoe is a HARD shoe. The sole is literally a hard plastic slab. They can be worn for a few hours but then a different pair of shoes MUST bu put on. Very dissapointing since Asolo brand has always been so fabulous in the past.

Nice light day hiking shoes or just shoes for the street. These shoes have very good support considering the thickness of the sole. The only downside to these shoes is they aren't waterproof, if they were they would get a 5 star rating.

Awesome pair of light hikers. Spent 7 weeks in summer in Europe up and down the Polish and Slovenian mountains. (light pack and backpack, no mountaineering) and they were light, incredibly comfortable and durable. I have narrow feet and these fit perfect, no wiggle room to de-stabilize feet. Water and stain - shedding- practically self-cleaning. If ankle stability is not a concern, then these are the shoes for summer hiking or everyday heavy walking and backpacking.
