By Mitko from Boston, MA on 03/28/2008 Best Uses: Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoes! I'm 9.5-10.0 street size and the 9.5 Anasazis are a perfect aggressive fit. Initially I though I'd have to return them but after a month I can climb 3-4 hours in them w/o taking them off. Five-ten shoes have some of the best rubber in my opinion and the lining on the Anasazis is thinner than that on the Galileos which enhances sensitivity. Even so these shoes are not sensitive enough and the toe is not downturned enough for hard overhang climbing. The heel fit is odd but according to people that've owned them longer than me it's a matter of technique to make it work for you on heel hooks. Color is fine by me and laces are definitely worth the effort over velcro (I own 3 velcro pairs). These shoes excel at edging and smearing which is what they are made for!
Not true to size. color is fine By ashort84 from Austin, TX on 03/14/2008 Cons: very small, not true size Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Long Climbs, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to send this product back twice and still they didn't fit! I decided to forgoe trying and bought the more expensive 5.10 gambit.
