By mountainmama from Colorado Springs, Co on 11/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The rubber that wraps around the heel of the shoe has shrunk. Thus when you put your foot in your toes are jammed to the front and there is a big gap at the heel. I ordered two different sizes of the same style and they were both the same way.
Great shoe but very small By zenalpinist from Chicago on 06/17/2009 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Read the other reviews and bought a size 4.5 for my 9yr old who normally wears a 3.5, and they were still at least a half size too small. Looks like a great shoe, but in these sizes definately for tiny feet.
good shoe, terrible sizing By New to Outdoor from Missouri on 05/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Climbing shoes are supposed to be snug, but due to the discrepency between sizing and fit, the shoe was much too small. I think it would have been a good shoe, had I been able to get the correct size. They fit nicely while I was climbing, but my feet were screaming to be let out by the time I was back on solid ground.
By mountainman from colorado springs, co on 04/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By OutdoorGal from Missoula, MT on 03/30/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like the other reviews mention, these shoes are really small. I have pretty small feet, and couldn't fit into them - order a full size larger than you usually wear. They seem like great shoes otherwise, but alas, I couldn't try them out.
By Malibu Surfer from Malibu, CA on 02/04/2009 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Long Climbs, Sprint Climbs Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: All climbing shoes feel too small, the nature of the shoes, meant to form to your fit over time, I get a size too big and work it in from there. These shoes are super comfortable and work great! Got one for me and one for my son.
By Brad from Mojave Desert on 11/12/2008 Best Uses: Bouldering, Outdoor Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I think these shrunk. The rubber was warped and these were WAY too small. Ordered a men's 7 for my wife who is normally a women's 7. She couldn't put them on. It wasn't even close. We returned for a men's 8.5; hopefully, they will fit.
The shoe did appear to be a good quality shoe other than the size issue. Soft material, quality stitching and gluing.
Three stars for inconvenience. If the size is right, I'd probably give a 5.
By Desert from CA on 11/08/2008 Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Heel is significantly curved and cuts into back of foot if standing normally or resting in normal fashion. Returned item.
By Kona dog from Morro Bay, CA on 08/14/2008 Pros: Durable Sole, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It took me a few orders to finally get the right size, they seem to run a full size too small. Once I found the pair that fit, they are awesome. Great edging and stiff toe work. I really like them (nice color too).
first shoe and a great choice. By Ski from Fort Rucker, Alabama on 07/31/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Simple to Use Best Uses: Climbing, Daily use, Indoor gym Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of shoes. The only complaint I have is the loop pulls on the heel are sewn on the inside of the upper so they dig in to my heels but after the first week or so you get used to it and your feet tuffen up. like other have said order at least 1 1/2 sizes bigger. I wear a size 10 street shoe and i ordered these shoes in a 11.5 just top fit good.
