By RasItal from Los Angele, CA on 08/17/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For less than 30 bucks at Sierra Trading Post you can't go wrong with this bag. I own at least 5 other Eagle Creek bags, from luggage to backpacks and the quality can't be beat. I bought this to replace a conversion shoulder bag I bought over 12 years ago that's still alive and kicking after one hassle free warranty zipper replacement two years ago. I needed a new look and a new bag with bottle holders on the outside. My only 2 complaints are: 1. The the front flap is connected to the main compartment zipper in ways that sometimes makes it difficult to open and close. 2.When holding from the grab handle it sometimes forces open (separates from velcro) the front flap. A sturdy piece of plastic or metal under this handle across the top would have prevented this but probably would have added to the weight. But these are far from a deal breakers as they are only issues less than 50% of the time. And for an eagle creek bag this light, strong, and cheap I can look past them. The prices and service at Sierra Trading Post are the best. I doubt you'd find it cheaper anywhere else.

The capacity is perfect, any more and you would want a backpack. I could use more quick access pocket in the front but oh well.....

Again, very satisfied with Eagle Creek! By Mayor McCheese from Brooklyn, NY on 08/04/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Airplane carry on, School bag Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been very happy with this bag so far. I bought it because I've had another Eagle Creek bag for over 7 years and it's still in great condition, and this one looks to be another winner. Lots of space, pockets, and excellent craftsmanship. As others mentioned, the velcro is a bit annoying, but very minor in my opinion. Also, I'm a biker and I cant quite get the strap as tight as I'd like, but the waist strap is helpful for that.
Not really made for notebook computers By Evenhanded from Upstate, New York on 07/29/2008 Cons: Computer sleeve small Best Uses: Business or school Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Wanted to use it for my 15" laptop, but the sleeve was too small. The padding was also minimal. It might be okay for a smaller notebook computer. Plenty of room for books or other stuff in the main compartment.
I would recommend this product to anyone By Scooter1 from Tucson, AZ on 07/28/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: To work on my scooter Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical, Sporty, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Most bags are too big or too small, this one is just the right size! I wish the shoulder strap pad could be more mobile to move to a more "central" position when the strap is at it's shortest length. With the current construction, I can't move the pad over the "tightening" bracket to center the pad on the strap. If I lengthened the strap, it would work but, I don't wear it that way.
Just what the son ordered By Mom on a Mission from London, England on 04/17/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Good looks, Great colors, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My 8th grader chucked his backpack for this bag and loves it. He says it's much easier and more comfortable to carry his books/notebooks over his shoulder than on his back. He even likes the color and the wide, sturdy straps. Will be great for plane trips to put his laptop in for easy access at security check-point.
