By Narix from Columbia, MO on 01/20/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Dual use, Easy Set Up Best Uses: Day Trips, Outdoor Events, Winter Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: No bar laterally so chair curves around your back.
Lightweight, Quality Construction By Melissa from GA on 01/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Dries Quickly, Dual use, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Beach, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Contrary to several comments, I found this chair to be very lightweight, easy to inflate/deflate, and convenient to carry. The carrying case could use a handle/arm sling, but I just bungie two at a time to the bottom of my daypack - the weight balances just fine. We will use for stadium and field sport events (RoadAtlanta and FI), camping, beach and as extra 'deck' chairs on the boat. Love the long version that can double as a mattress pad.
By JJ from Minneapolis, MN on 08/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Beach, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There's not much you can say about a folding chair that does what it's supposed to. They work fine; they are easy to use; they are reasonably comfortable; and seem to be well constructed.
By Suz from Midwest on 06/06/2008 Cons: Difficult Set Up, Manual de-flation, Manual inflation Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is not what I expected. The fact that it needed to be manually inflated and deflated was a strong minus for me. I wanted something that I could just unfold and use immediately. Took a while to roll it back up as well.
Gotta Have It for Outdoor Concerts! By Dennis from Gastonia, NC on 05/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Dries Quickly, Dual use, Easy Set Up Best Uses: Also great on boats, Beach, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This chair is an absolute must for outdoor conserts where you sit on the lawn. It provides great comfort while sitting & my just releasing the two side supports you can lay down and nap while the music floats around you.
Be careful about placing it on sharp object. It can puncture & deflate.
Not for this person too bulky By Lady Godiva from wilmington, nc on 03/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: For my uses it was too heavy to transport. If you took it from a car to sit in, that would be fine.

Solid Chair with some wierd kinks By Peachies from Ozark, Arkansas on 01/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Cons: Bulky, Could be simpler Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Didn't realize that is was from the "casual" line of crazy creek chairs. Was intended to use as a sleeping pad but much bulkier than the average thermarest. Slightly heavier than expected, but still able to strap onto my pack. Has some odd gadget ("on" button") to decompress, not really sure why...but a good size, very comfortable to sleep on. great price!!
I like their foam chairs better... By Jay from Boston, MA on 01/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dual use Cons: Bulky, Delicate, Difficult Set Up, Heavy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This chair is quite comfortable. However, I don't particularly like the inflation mechanism--the valve is difficult to deal with. The chair is also quite heavy, so it's not really worth carrying it on a hiking trip.
