I always take water for my dog, when we run. This bowl is so convenient, lightweight and leakproof. I hang it from my water belt and away we go!
Great food bowl for the adventure dog! By madcity dog lover from Madison, Wi on 11/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Height, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great as a water bowl - we use it hiking and at the dog park. Has a ring that works with a biner for easy transport, also really easy to carry as is. At first I wasn't sure the small would be big enough for our weimaraner, but it's perfect! His entire snout fits in the bowl :) It's really cute!

By Icyone from Maryland on 07/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Depth, Stay Put, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this to carry along on hikes so that I can give my dog a drink of water from my Camelback on dry hikes. I carry it on my belt using a biner or in the pack. It also has a cloth cover that closes with a drawstring so you could carry dry dog-food in it; will serve as a feeding bowl in camp or on trips. I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean, so only give it 4 at this point. Seems very well-made.
no need to get a bigger size By Dana from WA on 07/15/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this on the trail for my lab. I think the small size works perfect, just enough for a drink of water.
Works Well - Worth the Cost By Kristy & Ellie, the Australian Shepherd from Jacksonville, FL on 06/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Depth, Good Height Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used the bowls for hiking yet but they are the perfect size for my Aussie and seem to stand up (literally) well. I could see how small pieces of food might slip through since the drawstring doesn't seem to close the opening fully. Honestly, you could just put a piece of paper or a baggie in there before closing it if you are concerned about the food falling out. The price was right and the product is functional - and matches her dog pack. Well worth it.

Folds up easily and is light weight. I have a medium sized dog and the small bowl is plenty big for her to drink from.

By Stu from Skokie, Il on 01/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Drink From, Tough Best Uses: Indoors, Smaller Dogs Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I do like these travel bowls, it's just for water that I have a problem. Perhaps I'm using them incorrectly, but it seems that a lot of water gets trapped beneath the cuff that's used to secure items in transit. Otherwise we love them.
By Kate from Ohio on 06/29/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Larger Dogs, Older Dogs, Outdoors, Puppies, Smaller Dogs Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These bowls are great to take along on day hikes, backpacking trips, to the park, or just in the yard. They are light weight and collapsable so my dog can carry them himself in his back pack. I have a 75lb. dog and got the small bowl and they still work great!!
