By pab204 from Welcome, NC on 10/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Easy To Clean, Slip Resistant, Stain Resistant Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This item is much thicker than other pelts I have purchased. My schnauzer is 14 1/2, skinny and frail so it's perfect for him since most days he can't jump on his favorite spot - the sofa.

By Cruz & The Critters from Indiana on 10/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Easy To Clean, Environmentally Friendly, Slip Resistant Cons: Not Machine Washable Best Uses: Bedroom, Den, Kitchen, Living Room, Outdoors, Tile Floors, Topper to existing bed, Wood Floors Describe Yourself: Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am using this for my newly rescued 5-year old Husky, Gidgit. Husky's are bred and born to run, pull and play in the snow. I wanted her to feel safe, secure and natural, so I thought that a pelt with my scent on it would help. I was really stunned at how nice the "pet pelt" was, and really enjoyed sleeping on it for a few night in order to cover it with my scent.
I put this on top of her ortho bed in her dog house, which is on my semi-enclosed porch. I wanted to see if it would be warm and comfortable on the first chilly night of the Fall. As a rescue, I knew she'd never had anything, let alone a pelt to sleep on, and didn't know if it would be dug up and out of her dog home by morning. But when I peeked out the window in the early morning, there she was sound asleep, nestled into the long pelt fur!
I will be purchasing at least one more - it is so amazing to lay on, I think that I'd like on efor myself, too!
yikes, it's sasquatch in my living room By Tallyz mom from Bellingham, WA on 09/29/2009 Best Uses: Den, Kitchen, Living Room, Wood Floors Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This thing is great, but I haven't yet convinced my cats of the fact. It's super soft and durable; it just looks a bit scary (weird dye job, indeed).
By Colorado Customer from Colorado Springs, CO on 09/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Slip Resistant Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had this "rug" long enough to know about its durability, but it's beautiful and my Australian Shepherd absolutely loves it! It's her deluxe "doggy bed" which I have in my bedroom and it's her first place to flop down. I was also surprised to learn it doesn't shed...not one bit!!
By cangaru from new york, ny on 09/09/2009 Pros: Accommodates sprawled cat, Durable, Enticing-saves furniture, Soft on paws Cons: Stains Easily, Tough To Clean Best Uses: Bedroom, Living Room Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: my cats love to lounge on shearling (which reminds them of their mother's tummy, which is why they'll knead it for a while before settling down) so i throw one wherever i want to create a little nest for them. you can use one to draw them to a particular spot where you want them to curl up - either away from furniture or toward you, for easy petting. these are slightly funny-colored and don't necessarily blend in with the decor, but they do the trick and make the cats happy, which is the important thing, after all.
By Dog Lover from Yankton, SD on 09/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Soft, Warm and cozy Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have two high energy territorial schnauzers that now each have a sheepskin throw for their beds. They both curled up and didn't want to get off their beds when I first layed them out. I use one to cover a favorite spot on the ottoman. Great soft and sunset is a beautiful color.

By Daybravous from MN on 08/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Easy To Clean Best Uses: Bedroom, Living Room Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered 4 pet pelts 1 for each cat but, when I saw that 2 cats fit quite easily with room to spare, I returned 2. Each pelt fits nearly the width of a queen size bed.
I like the look and feel of the wool and because of the color cat hair is not visible. Glad I purchased.
