Now, if it is cold at night, she crawls underneath and goes to sleep. If she is warm enough she just lays on top. If I pick it up, she knows she is going for a ride and follows me around waiting for me to put it down.

I throw mine in the washing machine with woolite, cold water and low heat dry with fluffers. I do have a washing machine with no agitator. I haven't tried it with these but it works fine with my other sheep skins. These are a great price.
