He does! The fleece is very soft, and there is just the right amount of fill to make it comfy. It's reversible and machine wash and dry, too. The medium is a good fit for a 12 lb cat so it may be smaller than you think.

Medium size does not fit medium dogs (40-50 lbs) very well, go for large or XL.
