I put a folded blanket on top of it and she loves the bed.

It is great to take on the go. Works well in the car or in a crate. It is plush and comfortable. I sometimes sit on the floor with my 65# labrador, and this bed is big enough to share. Folds up nicely to store or carry. I routinely bring it to my inlaws home so he has his own place during our visit.

Also works well to place on ottoman for cover.

I bought this bed to lay on top of another bed or rug while traveling. Not thick enough for use on its own.
