By David from Grand Rapids, Michigan on 03/04/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional, Simple and complete Best Uses: Fresh Water, Ice Fishing, Salt Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What can you say about a journal! the pages are nicely laid out with headings that seem to make sense (though the print is a little pale). There seeems to be ample room to write your entries for the day/event. Some nice pictures to break up the pages. Would be nice to see an occasional blank, lined page for free-texting and just meandering thoughts. Looking forward to filling it up
Beautiful journal. My son loves it. By kathymc from McArthur, CA on 01/01/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Ice Fishing, Salt Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 2 for Xmas gifts. The best thing about this journal is that it is spiral bound, so it's easy to write in. Great gift for one that likes to hike and fish.
great pages, horrible cover By ncmack111 from brevard, nc on 12/16/2008 Pros: Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the book itself is excellent. i love the pages and the photo inserts, but i hate the cover. i thought it would be more like a sportsman journal, butinstead the cover is like a high school trapper keeper. i wish a photo of it had been included. that would have been great to see.

A place for all those bugs By Dragonfly Beader from Roanoke, VA on 01/02/2008 Pros: Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My father in law is an avid fly fisherman and a professional guide. He is always collecting bug specimens and talking about water conditions. This was perfect for him to keep all these things in one place, particularly when he is guiding/traveling outside of our area.

Not for the serious photo journalist By Paul fly fisher from NC on 12/01/2007 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nicely finished journal with 2 entries per page. Has about 106 pages for entries but, only 12 pages for photos of those prize catches. 7 more pages for recording Lodge/Guide info. Spiral bound for easy page turning but, hard to add or subtract pages.
