Bought this kit to have as a "quick easy accessible package" to have available in New England power failures. Great product for the cost.

It is a great assembly of items needed in the event of an emergency and it is compact. It is easy to grab and go when you are heading on a camping trip or in the event of a natural disaster and you need the items in the kit.It was a real bargain at [$] but less so at the regular price.

Most of the items were of low quality. The batteries were dead. For the price, though, there were just barely enough items to make it worth buying.

Comments:
The flashlights are cheap and two of the batteries didn't work. Not very high end items. I kept some and replaced others, added handwarmers and a heavy blanket for winter emergencies. I do like the case and the AM/FM radio is a nice touch.

I have been doing lots of emergency preparedness training as part of my work. This IS NOT a complete disaster kit, but it is a good start, and a great thing to keep in the car. Check out the Red Cross website for additional info on disaster kits. I bought 3 of these for the folks who work in my office, and just ordered another one for myself.

There are a few useful emergency items in this pack, but overall, nothing too special about it. Ended up just stashing at home as insurance, in case some disaster happens.
