By vpar from Marietta, OH on 06/24/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Stylish Describe Yourself: Athletic, Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Product seems great, will just take some practice learning to use it.
By runnerchic from Arkansas on 06/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Athletic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works o.k. Not sure how accurate the heart rate monitor/calories burned is. I'm still learning though. It's good for my first training watch.
Difficult to setup, functions well By Mel from Pueblo, CO on 06/02/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Athletic, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great HRM, but difficult to set up initially until you figure out all the buttons and settings. I was really looking for something more simple that I could use immediately without using directions. I will be happier with this model in the longrun, however, because some of the more advanced settings.
By inoutupdown from Santa Barbara, CA on 05/30/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Cute, Display, Great price Cons: Scratches easily, Unreliable Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I enjoy wearing this watch but it scratches so easily. Wish I knew that & got something to protect the face as another reviewer suggested. It looks cute/funky & I've gotten compliments. The HRM has been totally frustrating for me. Have studied the instructions but still goes offline several times per workout.
By Rick from Bradford, VT on 05/29/2008 Pros: Good Quality, Great functions, Stylish Cons: Hard to read lap splits Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this watch. Just be careful cutting the custom watch band to size. You only get one chance and I cut mine just a little too small. This watch is stylish and not hard to use after reading the instructions. My only complaint is that the lap splits are a little hard to read. Heart rate is definitely not hard to read.
By rex from Australia on 05/26/2008 Pros: Easy to Use, Stylish Describe Yourself: Athletic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good entry level hrm.great value for money.it does scratch very easily so i would recommend buying an invisible shield. if you buy the adjustable band like i did cut it to big to start with and wear it for a few days before final adjustment.once you cut there is no going back.
By teacher who loves to workout from denver, co on 05/19/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable Cons: Difficult but useful Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The watch is awesome and works really well to track your heart rate, however there are so many options that it gets very complicated. I am still working on figuring out all of the options for keeping track of workouts. Once I am able to memorize all of the programs and buttons I will be very happy. I love the idea of having so much detail about my workouts all stored in my watch.
Fine Entry Level Training Watch By Frank from Colorado Springs, CO on 05/17/2008 Pros: Good Quality, Many Features Cons: Learning to program it Describe Yourself: Athletic, Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We bought two of these for cycling. Already use a fine Suunto Vector, so I was familiar with the slightly steep initial learning curve for programming. But you learn quickly and the watch settings you've chosen can be adjusted easily after you see the watch outputs. Would rather dump the session outputs into my PC, but the Suunto version that does that is a lot more expensive. We can live with this watch as is.
Not at all what I thought it would be By Irish76 from North Attleboro, Ma on 05/17/2008 Cons: Akward looking, Bulky, Not anything like the pic Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: All websites that feature this item show a really cute, colorful, stylish watch. What you actually get is an enormous watch face, and a hideous colored watch band (I ordered olive, it looked like murky pea soup)
The shipping and delivery of this product was excellent, as usual.
