Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've only used this on one short trip, so far, and it's nothing fancy, but has a few different beams, which is all I need. Don't know about battery life yet, but I've read that it's decent. I have used and will use this primarily for late night potty runs and reading in the tent.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I recently purchased one of these head mounted LED lights before venturing into the Mount St Helen;s APE CAVES and as very impressed. The light was not as bright as the incandescant lights some other spelunkkers had, but the promised battery life of 40 hrs on high......100 hrs on low is more than enough to make up for the lack of brightness. I was so impressed I purchased (4) more for my family to use during the dark winter nights at our Adirondack cabin.......
