By Redwing from Jackson, MI on 06/03/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Very Accurate Cons: Crown somtimes unlocks Best Uses: Everyday, Formal, Sports Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear it everyday. It seemed heavy at first, but after a day or two I didn't even notice. Very well made, accurate, and easy to set. My only complaint is the crown has sometimes opened, inadvertently changing the date.
By JustRay from Desert, Idaho on 04/30/2009 Pros: Easy To Read, Good Quality, Stylish Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had been looking for a watch with good luminescence (but didn't want an Indiglo) when I got this watch as a gift. It was just what I wanted and was immidiately pleased.
I love the stainless steel case and band and the clasp is solid. I love the simple and clear hour indicators, and with the bright luminescent capsules it is easy to ready any time of day, and the 24-hour hand is handy feature for me. The stops on the rotating bezel coincide with the hour and minute marks precicely, which show that this is a well-made, well thought-out device.
A side story: I wore the watch for about three weeks until it ingested some water during a hotsprings soak, and I have no idea why. I tried to dry it out but it quit after a week. I went to the LumiNox website to check out their warranty policies and when I read how stringent and particular they are I was not optimistic that I would get my new favorite watch fixed without a lot more cash.
I took my dead watch and all the paperwork to the Meridian store and they exchanged it without question. There wasn't one in stock but they ordered me a brand new one and it was on my wrist in three days. STP Rocks!

By G A from Knoxville, TN on 03/12/2009 Pros: Easy To Read, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Athletic, High End Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you love watches then you will definitely love the Luminox 2002 Executive watch. This watch looks great. This is my first Luminox watch and I'm very impressed with their product. It looks sporty but also professional. I usually wear my Movado dress watch at work. But now I will be switching it out with this one. I would highly recommend purchasing this watch.
By MellowJohn from Olmos Park, Texas on 02/22/2009 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Travel Describe Yourself: High End Shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: How is it that the "high end" watch makers have not gotten tritium gas tube technology?
Very impressive style and function. By Tom from Oakland Gardens, NY on 02/15/2009 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Attractive, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Formal, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, High End Shopper, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am very impressed with the the Luminox Executive Traveller Watch in black, red and blue. The styling is very attractive. It has received more compliments than my high-end more expensive watches. The face is extremely easy to read during the day or night when the face is illuminated. I am extremely pleased. You can wear it any time, any place. It is definitey my favorite everyday watch.
Matches atomic clock to the second! By LaCuevaman from Glorieta, NM on 01/30/2009 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Formal, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Modern, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This watch has kept the exact same time as my atomic clock for a month.
I use it for everything I do except heavy manual labor that might scratch the crystal. It's the most attractive, stylish, and reliable watch I've ever had in my 65 years on the planet. It is a bit on the heavy side, but that is one way it affirms its presence as a thing of substance and quality. Needless to say, I am a very happy owner of an exceptional instrument.
By My other watch is a Rolex ;-) from Austin, TX on 01/16/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Reliable, Self illuminated Cons: Heavy, Jeweler 15 to size it Best Uses: Camping and SAR, Everyday, Travel Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Its my first Luminox and I really love the luminous markings. No need to use your other hand to light up the dial in a dark theater or tent. Stainless steel watch looks appropriate for adults anywhere. Jeweler charged $15 to take out two links to resize the band as he woudl for any other S/S wristband. It is heavier than a plastic watch and has no alarm or stopwatch function. But my cell phone is my preferred walkabout alarm.
By 911 Guy from Southern Connecticut on 01/07/2009 Pros: Good Quality, Practical, Reliable, Rugged, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Travel Describe Yourself: Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great readability, great build quality. Difficult to adjust band at home - brought to jeweler. Like the GMT function. Overall very fine product.
By Satisfied Chris from Bucks County, PA on 10/13/2008 Pros: Adjustable Watchband, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Formal, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this watch. I went backpacking this weekend and didn't bring it because I was afraid to get it scratched. One of the best parts about coming home was getting to put this watch back on. I will have a hard time buying a watch without tritium in the future.
