The Shock Doctor's innersoles certainly helped me. I ordered three pair, really like the construction and am happy to recommend a great product at a great price.

The boots have a 1.5 inch heel. After a bit of trimming that including cutting triangles into the heel cup (which was too wide for a woman's shoe), the insole fits like a dream and they're now incredibly supportive and comfy.
