Great Mug! Good Deal!
By Red Rock Boater from Moab, UT on 11/06/2009
Pros:
Comfortable To Hold
Best Uses:
River Rafting
Describe Yourself:
Boater
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Great mug for river rafting. The handle connects on both sides. This allows a person to put a tie the lid to the handle. Most stainless steel mugs do not have a handle like this...Hurrah!

Love it!
By tchudsonVerified Reviewer from La Veta, CO on 09/03/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable To Hold, Durable
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I've been using this mug for about a month. No problems with the lid as others describe - in fact, some times the lid is difficult to get off. I'm actually about to order one for my wife. I only gave it four stars because the handle isn't as comfortable as it could be.

not dishwasher safe
By erinVerified Reviewer from santa fe on 08/03/2009
Pros:
Comfortable To Hold
Cons:
Not Dishwasher Safe
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I like it. It's not elegant and it's not dishwasher safe, which is probably why some got water in between the layers. But the lid works fine for me, and it's squat, which is what my espresso machine requires in order to pour directly into my cup, with lots of room for ice. It's not worth even the [$] STP price, get it with a coupon, though.

Stable, but lid is a problem
By BrianOfAtlantaVerified Reviewer from Atlanta, GA on 03/23/2009
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The good: Short and squat design won't tip, keeps drinks reasonably hot, rugged construction. The bad: As mentioned by others, the lid is won't stay put. Handle is not comfortable or easy to grip for big hands, especially when cup is full and has some weight to it. Be careful when washing this cup, as water can get between the double walls. That said, it works well enough for the office or home where you use the lid for transporting but not for drinking. Not a bad cup if you don't need the lid and you can get it for next to nothing like I did.

These mugs suck
By glvaughan from Scottsdale, AZ on 05/31/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I've loved the older version of this mug, but the new one has a deal-killing design flaw - the lids don't stay seated. They continue to pop, letting the heat escape and allowing the nice dark coffee to spill into your lap. The only way you can get them to stay seated is to wipe the rubber gasket and the inside top of the mug with a cloth or paper towel. Hmm, just what you want to do every time you have a cup of coffee. Bad design flaw.

Attractive & durable item
By pjokieVerified Reviewer from Little Rock, AR on 05/18/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable to Hold
Cons:
A little heavy
Best Uses:
Domestic, Informal
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Frequent Entertainer, Practical, Stylish
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I take this mug out on the deck for my morning coffee. It's got big enough not tohav to run back & forth to refill & keps the coffee hot. It's a bit heavy, but that's no problem..got loads of compliments on the other one I bought for a guest to use. It won't fit a cup holder for your car, but that's not why I bought them. I shpuld have picked up a couple more.
