By Jeff from Maine on 08/11/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Good Footing, Tough Material Best Uses: Cold Water, Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What a great pair of waders. Made the step up from some Albrights and the difference is night and day. The gore-tex lining is a big plus. The air was 80 degrees and the water was 50 degrees, yet I was comfortable wearing these waders in both.

By Fenwick Periwinkle from Springfield, Oregon on 06/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Good Footing, Tough Material Cons: Shoulder strap design Best Uses: Cold Water, Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had Simms (Apparently called "Swims" by some) and Patagonia waders over the last 20 years (Redballs before that...). I loved my Patagonia waders but they finally gave out. Bought the Cloudveil 8X after reading reviews on the web. Quality is immediately noticeable. Used them this weekend and very impressed so far. I like the 3 waterproof pockets - very nice. My only complaint is the shoulder strap design is not as flexible as the design by Patagonia. Patagonia allows you to roll the waders down on hot days while leaving the shoulder straps on - the 8x have a traditional design. The shoulder strap issue is not a deal breaker but seems like they would have put some thought into it considering the qualitiy of the rest of the product.

Great style, non restrictive, and light. By Steve at Maryland Angler from Pennsylvania on 04/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Great front pockets Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the style, material, front pockets. The large short size fit like a large- the legs are a bit longer than expected. Also, the built in gravel guards, though a nice feature, are a bit to short for to accomondate some boots.
Fit and quality of item superb. By dionne51 from New England on 04/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Fit like pants, Tough Material Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've only had 3-4 outings with these and as expected for the price have had zero issues with leaks. One full season is all I normally get from a 'decent' pair of waders and I hope to get more from these.

These are the best fitting waders, ever. By Slim from Tri-Cities, MI on 03/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Take On And Off, Good Footing, Tough Material Cons: Waiting to hit the river Best Uses: Cold Water, Fly Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just purchased these after looking at Patagonias and Simms. I wasn't satisfied witht the fit of either to justify the price. I came across these and thought why not order them and try. Package arrived and I immediately tried them on. I called my buddy and said " Dude, you gotta get a pair of these".
