By runningmama from Vancouver, WA on 05/29/2009 Pros: Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just started cycling in preparation for my first triathlon. Most of the equipment that I have been using for the last few months has been low end or borrowed. I didn't want to invest a ton of money into an expensive sport I wasn't sure I would get into. I'm so glad I decided to "upgrade" my helmet. Compared to what I have been using, this helmet rocks. It is so lightweight and comfortable that I hardly know I am wearing it. I have also received compliments on the styling from "real" cyclists.
nice helmet, not sure about the liner By colo cyclist from boulder on 05/26/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Lightweight, LOOKS GREAT Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This helmet really looks nice, and fits very well, with the one-hand dial in the back. It seems more compact than the Giro Pneumo (weighs exactly the same as the Giro - 290 grams)that I also got at the same time to compare. I have not yet decided whether to keep it or not - the liner, instead of simple pads that only touch your head in limited spots, is a one piece liner that has small (1/8 inch) holes in the front to keep bugs out, I assume. However, an entire piece of material touches your head, which seems like it could be hot, and cuts down on the effectiveness of the vents, possibly. I am worried about it being too hot in the summer, and have no way to test this. It would be a great helmet for fall through spring.
By crit junkie from nj on 05/23/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Fits my head perfect, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: Everyday riding, Road cycling Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: compared to an specialized s-works helmet, it fits me better with a little more padding than the s-works, but the s-works helmet seems to be a little cooler in hot weather, overall very happy with LAS helmet

By Nbug from Durham, NH on 05/04/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a large head. I have worked my way through a Specialized King Cobra, two Giro Pneumos and a Limar 951. This is the best fitting and most comfortable helmet of the bunch. Nothing has really felt comfortable until now.

Awesome Helmet, Great Value By Jeff from MS Gulf Coast on 04/30/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a bit concerned about the sizing since my Kripton was one size fits all. I am just shy of 59cm and the S/M fits perfect, I actually have room to wear a light beanie in the winter. Didn't care for the off set buckle and chin pad but it was quickly adjusted during the fit process to center the buckle and discard the chin pad. Quality lining, soft strap, easy adjustments and very light weight not to mention great Italian styling and good venting. I should buy another.
