comfy chair for the price
By Judi from Wyoming on 6/24/2008
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Most comfortable recliner we have for all in our family from Grandma to college age jock guys. Too big to fit in our car for car camping expeditions, but great to leave at the weekend cabin or at home on the deck. Thicker fabric than the similar "Alps" chair (that we also enjoy)and it may not dry as fast. We also prefer the wood Alps arm rests for style. But the Lafuma recliner is the most comfortable.

Pros:
Colorful, Comfortable, Easy Set Up, Lightweight for size, Well designed
Cons:
Everyone will be jealous
Best Uses:
Campgrounds, Day Trips, Deck or back yard, Outdoor Events
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I have a bad back, I mean a BAAAAD back and this thing make you feel like you are floating. Once you get used to tilting back or pulling up it is easy to use. I was a little iffy on the bright colors when I saw them on the web page but they look much better in person. My wife and I enjoy a yearly trip to an outdoor progressive rock festival and these are a great addition to our travel supplies. They appear to be very well made and look forward to many years of use!
Best recliner...the second one for me!

Comments: great deal on a comfortable lounger. ordered 2 - one had a support that was not attached - had to have not been assembled at the manufacturer's as it took a wrench & pliers to fix. both had 1 rubber foot pad missing, but were in the bottom of the box & not difficult to attach.

Comments: Needs quite a bit of effort to come up from reclining into normal seated position. I am still trying to find out if this is normal or if I am just not doing this right. However, once you recline it is heaven!

A big improvement over earlier models
By RPG from Skippack PA on 2/21/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight, Supportive, Tough
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I purchased this model to replace an earlier version which I bought five years ago. The bungee cords deteriorated on that chair and the cost was [$] It seems the new model features a newly redesigned cord meant to last longer which is a big plus. The biggest difference between the older model and the RSX though is the actual feel when sitting. The RSX feels like you are sitting on top of it, while the older model felt like I was sitting in a hammock. In addition, the new model is padded, whereas the older model was just a plain strong fabric. If you have the older model I would strongly suggest you consider trading up for this one. It looks to be substantially more comfortable, supportive of the back, and durable.
