Great lighter for wind & mountains
By Bill ClayVerified Reviewer from New Haven, CT on 06/03/2008
Pros:
Works great
Cons:
fussy to open
Best Uses:
Sailing, Skiing
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
What Is Your Gear Style:
Comfort Driven
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Works great in wind, and the adjustable mixture should make it useful at altitude (cheaper torch-style lighters have always failed me when I get about 6000 ft).

Works in the rain, wind and has an easy to see fuel-level. Sturdy construction and airtight closure and easy to grip in the cold - it doesn't slip from your grip. This model has an adjustable flame which can be set to a very strong setting.

A Great Investment!
By TB from PA on 03/18/2008
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I'm a skier and this is a must for the chairlift! I also guide whitewater rafting trips so I'm sure it will come in handy this summer. If you do alot of activities outdoors and you share the terrible habit of smoking then this is a great gadget to have.
