Small, powerful, and colored lens option By Mad Max from Burlington, VT on 07/19/2009 Pros: Bright, Small, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great, small, and bright light. It's still pretty new; so, I can't comment a lot on battery life. A definite plus that it comes standard with colored lenses (red, blue, green); so, it can be used at night without compromising night vision.

By Cathy from Texas on 01/21/2009 Cons: Heavy, Low battery life Best Uses: Walking dog at night Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: previously purchased a Princeton Tec flashlight at Sierra and loved it. This one was much heavier for its size. Disappointed for price.
By Uncle Roger from Upland, CA on 01/06/2009 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Spare Bulb, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not the prettiest flashlight going, but it is rugged and bright. The beam produces a bright center white with a larger, softer ring around the edge. This allows for a larger view of the area. The clip allows you to attach it safely to your flashlight holder or belt. After dropping it, I can attest to its ruggedness. No dings. It won't double as a weapon......it's just a good, solid, bright flashlight.
Nice construction and design...So So LED By Bossaman from Los Angeles, CA on 12/16/2008 Pros: Good Finish, Nice Construction, Nice Features Cons: LED had a very Blue Tint, LED not very powerful, Light Needed More Throw Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was really excited about this light. I was looking for a good light for my gear bag that lives in my car. I have owned lots of high end flashlights including Streamlight, Surefire, Fenix, and Inova. I thought this Princeton Tec would be a great inexpensive light to have in my gear bag. It has a lot of great features; different colored interchangeable lenses, pocket clip, natural aluminum finish, forward clickie tailcap, and good overall construction. The problem is the LED itself. It needs to be twice as bright. Also the LED had a very Blue Tint. If there was an drop in LED that was an upgrade for this light I would have kept it. Since I was unable to get an upgrade for this light I sent it back to Sierra Trading Post. The next generation of this light will most likely have a better LED and I will be the first in line to buy it! Until then I will pass.
