By lekfx from Culver City, Ca. on 07/24/2008 Pros: Bright, Durable, Long battery life, Stable, Versatile Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking, Tool box Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a fetish. I have a fetish for flashlights. I must own dozens. It's not that I'm afraid of the dark... I just love the design exercise and the usefulness, and I have them stashed everywhere in our home, shop and cars. I have a degree in Product Design from the #1 college in the world for it, so I know from where I speak. This is an AMAZING VALUE IN A FLASHLIGHT! The brightness is second to none in LED's. The battery life should be excellent, no overheating issues, even, stable beam, and just the right size. The clip/ring/lanyard loop feature is so cool and you can customize it to fit YOUR need. It won't roll off a rock or the hood of your car, it's NOT BLACK (Someone tell me WHY anyone would design something, that you will likely need to find in the DARK, and make it BLACK???) and best of all, it matches my wife's car! Buy this. It is expensive, but so worth it!
