I have another of this brand, and the sizes aren't consistent. I had to get a whole size smaller this time. Once I got the correct size these boots are wonderful.....

These boots are waterproof and submerged up to the ankle for 15 minutes with no leaks. These are my second pair and the first are holding up nicely but are lighter summer hiking boots.
