By Luka from Bend, OR on 07/31/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Easy Set Up Best Uses: Campgrounds, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Feels very small, and seating is too upright for comfort.
Perfectly meets my needs. Good product. By Frugal fotographer and flyfisher from Montana on 04/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Easy Set Up, Sturdy Best Uses: Beach, Campgrounds, Fishing, Outdoor Events, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: While it is certainly too heavy and bulky for backpacking, it is great for tailgating, day trips by car, picnics, boating and float fishing, photography (blinds and events), fishing (wader removal), sporting events, spare use for guests when road camping, bird and animal watching, and other similar uses. While not a chair for lounging or kicking back in camp, it is comfortable for short time use, compact enough for car trunk or hatchback, and very sturdy.
Will work great in our ground blind By Tom from Appleton, WI on 03/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In a ground blind for turkey hunting
Just what I needed for the river. By Mike from Grand Junction, CO on 03/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This chair is the ticket for refting trips. It seems too many take along the big bulky, heavy chairs, filling the raft with an extra 100 lbs of chair. I figure to go smaller is better, plus it gets you off the ground.
By wamparoo from louisville, ky on 03/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: from the pictures, this looked like a nice camp stool that you could latch onto a pack. Kind of like the GSI ones I see at local trail stores. This thing is huge, and its really uncomfortable. It doesnt let you scoot back in the chair at all, so you are sitting mostly on the horn of the chair, where your crotch is bearing alot of the weight. Not cool. sending it back.
By Rivergnome from Blgtn, IN on 03/21/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: ad says 17x17x17; label sats 16x16x16, not very comfortable for male anatomy.
By D Artist from Sunland, CA on 03/18/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's small and highly portable. I'm an artist and I think it will be great for carrying with me when I want to sketch or paint in nature.
Nice Chair for a hunting blind By Fishinfinn from Ely, Minnesota on 03/09/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up, Somewhat comfortable Best Uses: Hunting blind, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Works great as a seat in a hunting blind. Seat height is better than many. Some users may require a pad for a better fit. I liked it so much I bought an extra one. The back seat is straighter than I would like, but I just made sure the front leg is elevated higher than the rest which tilts the back so it is more comfortable.
