This stool is great for wait and watch By judy sue from richmond virginia on 01/12/2009 Pros: Compact, Dries Quickly, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events, Perfect for "waiting", Perfect for "waiting" for, Road Trips, Winter Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is great if waiting for a parade, a concert, a sunset. Probably great for fishing, cooking, writing in the campground, other work, etc. It does require you to sit up straight so is not a chair for campfire relaxing. Or sunbathing. It is both heavy and lightweight - heavier than I had hoped but very very sturdy. I am very pleased with it.
By Jeff the Tech from Tucson on 01/02/2009 Pros: Easy Set Up, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this in server rooms and phone closets, where there is no chair provided. Beats the heck out of standing, and does not take up much room in the truck. Bought several to give to fellow techs.

By NY camper from hudson valley, NY on 12/30/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Cons: Back uncomfortable, Seat "center" tight Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: seat back contour is so upright it is uncomfortable and encourages slouching. the seat, however, does not quite have enough room for a male sitter and anything but an extreme upright posture exacerbates the groin discomfort. It is a very handy weight and size.

By J9 from Harrisburg NC on 07/07/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up, Stable Cons: Seatback too straight Best Uses: Gifted to friend Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really liked the chair except that the seatback was too straight up and down. I prefer a chair that allows me to lean back a little.
My friend loved it because it supported his lower back perfectly.
By Possum from Up North, Michigan on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this stool to use while backpacking. It turned out to be much longer and heavier than anticipated, so I returned it. I think it would work fine for drive-up camping, but then why wouldn't you just use your armed chairs with cup holders?!
