Easy to slip on in the night to check lambs and calves too. Tickled to death with them so far. A little warm for 40 degrees but too comfortable to go change out of.

By anaday from Mammoth, CA on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work at a ski resort and I have finally found THE outdoor winter boot! They're great. Dead on with the temperature rating, lightweight and WARM. As others have said, and I agree, they run large so order one size smaller.
Poor fit. Too ugly. Sent em back. By can't remember my nickname from chicago, IL on 01/05/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a big Salomon fan but these boots just didn't cut it. The fit was awkward. I do have AA narrow feet. If I had intended to wear many pairs of socks then the fit might have been ok but then I would have needed a longer size. But that's not why I buy really warm boots, I buy them so i DON"T have to wear a zillion pairs of socks.
I wanted to love them. They were very unattractive and let's face it... I still wanna look cute leaving the slopes or stomping around in the snow.
