By DannyGirl from Twin Cities, MN on 12/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband convinced me that i needed a pair of boots to go with my new snowshoes. Although I have not used them with the snowshoes yet, the boots are great! They are very warm and comfortable as I put them on right away and wore them in the negative temperatures we were having in Minnesota. My feet stayed super toasty! I wore them home for Christmas vacation and got many complements.
I'm looking forward to using them for some winter sports and am pretty sure that they will work well.
Even better than I expected! By framer94 from Erie, PA on 12/26/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had been considering another brand of boots, but when I read the reviews for the Salomon, I bought the Salomon B52. They are great- easy one and off, really warm and very light-weight! I am more than pleased. I have found that the sizing seems to run a little larger than usual with these boots, but not enough to try a smaller size. The toe box is very roomy and comfortable.
Don't Judge a Boot By It's Picture By Lisann from Avon, MN on 12/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I almost didn't order these boots based on the picture in the advertisment....when I showed the picture to my family they thought I was crazy to bother ordering them. When the arrived they looked great. I will be wearing them for sledding and snowshoeing this winter. I purchased the Chipmunk & Carmel color and have cream colored snow pants and jacket - They look wonderful as a set. They actually have an arch support! - Wonderful for those long walks back up the sledding hills.
By Lui from NSW on 12/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Size is not even close to what it should be. My Anne Klein shoes are size 8, which is 38 - 38.5 European size. Size 8 boots are whole inch too large. The tag on the boot is: US size 8, Europen size 40.

Good looking and pretty warm By snow bunny from Chicago, IL on 12/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Functional and not much bulkier than summer hiking boots. If you tend to have cold feet all the time like I do, you'll need to stay active in these boots. They're pretty warm, but below 10F or so my feet do get cold unless I use toe warmers.

By boohoo from Connecticut on 12/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the fit of these boots. I can wear expedition weight socks without sacrificing fit in length or width. I wear a size 7.r in the Salomon hiking boots, so I went to a size 8 for these. Additionally, foot warmth is key for me because I intend to wear these boots with snowshoes. These boots have 400grams of thinsulate--most boots only have 200grams.
By Super Grammy from Lawrence, KS on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were # 1 on my list, I took a chance and ordered a ridiculously small size-6 instead of my usual 7 to 7.5. Yes they were too small but they were indeed my dream boot, fit foot well, good arch support, not an overly stiff sole, and Gore Tex. Ah well.
