By Former Florida flatlander from Twin Falls, ID on 06/12/2008 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Ankle support, Backcountry Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Doing practice canyon hikes to prepare for 4 major Idaho peaks in July. It took about two 4 mile hikes to break in. They are heavy, but very supportive and sturdy. They were a full size too big,but great service when I returned the 1/2 size smaller for the full size smaller. Haven't tested the gore-tex yet. I have a narrow, long foot and am using inserts and heavy weight socks even with the full size smaller.

Doesn't fit like other Lowa boots By Kate from Boulder, CO on 02/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This doesn't fit like other Lowa boots. I ordered one size smaller like most other Lowa boots I wear, and my toes touched the end. If I were to order again, I would order the same size as I wear in shoes (one full size larger than my Lowa boot sizes).
