She loves the front pocket. But it is on the small size. It is not youth sized as it states. She only has a couple of inches to spare at her feet. I gave it 4 stars only because I expected it to be a little larger.
By Lorikeet from Elk Grove, CA on 07/22/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Storage bag very tight Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We tried ours out this weekend. It is a nice warm good quality bag. My only complaint is the storage bag is really small and it is a beast to get the sleeping bag into it. I would also recommend getting a toddler used the bag before camping. Ours did not like being confined to the bag. Luckily for us we had a really warm night.
Great sleeping bag for little ones! By Grandma from Green Bay WI on 06/24/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Cons: Stuff bag could be larger Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Sleepovers at Grandma's Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The color listed as pink, but it's really red. The square lining under the leaf is pink and inside of the hood is pink. I would use this for a boy as well as a girl. Soft and cozy!
By Chelle from West Orange, NJ on 06/03/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Toddler stayed in it Best Uses: 3 Season Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We don't camp much, but we will now that everyone has the perfect gear. I had a hard time finding a "real" sleeping bag for my 2.5 year old. This one is perfect with a little room to grow. She was trilled to have her own bag, I was happy it was rated to 41 degrees. We tested our camping gear out in the backyard over the Memorial Day Weekend. The temp got a low as 45 degrees. I touched her hands and face around 2 AM, she was warm and was sleeping peacefully. I was prepared with extra blankets but didn't need them. It was nice not to worry that she would get cold overnight, unlike other child sleeping bags that are only good for naps inside the house. Needless to say we look forward to "really" camping out!
