By Happy Happy from San Francisco Bay Area on 09/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Backyard, Car Camping, Families, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the money, this product can't be beat! We had other hammocks for about the same price range and none of them was as well-made as this one. The hammock is about 6' long and 5' wide - just nice for 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 kids.
There are 2 metal rings, one at each end. We secured 2 hooks(bought from local hardware store) on our balcony's pillars and hung the hammock there. Like the others mentioned, just adjust the hammock for height as it will sag on load.
We plan to take the hammock car camping too.
The materials used are top-notch and we are looking at other products by ABO for our beach needs.
Thank you STP for offering this fine product.

By dd from Stratford, CT on 08/12/2009 Best Uses: Backyard, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't understand why seller says it goes with the stand if it really doesn't fit well?
I had to twist the ends several times, but it keeps stretching to the ground. So I just keep twisting it inside itself at both ends to make it work.
good hammock - great price By Hikermom from Northern Virginia on 08/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size Best Uses: Backyard, Families, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great price for a good hammock. Since I paid less than half what I've paid for other hammocks, I'm very happy with the quality. As noted in other reviews, it will stretch a lot at first, so hang it high, about 5 feet off the ground stretched taut. It will stretch down to the right height after a couple of naps (-: Also, as noted before, you should take it down and store inside for the winter to increase the life of the hammock. A cotton hammock will not last forever, but it may be enjoyed for several years if you do this. I recommend this product.
Saggin' and Draggin' Hammock By Mr.B from not in a hammock, WY on 07/31/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Hammock looks great but for an OBX native I should have known better and spent the money on a Hatteras Hammock. Bought this for my wife and four year old daughter to use together but my 38lb daughter alone stretches it to the ground. Wanted and tried to get this hammock to work but no such luck. Monumental waste of time and money.
