By Skinny from georgia on 05/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Backyard, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: ALL cotton rope hammocks are stretchy. If using a stand, adjust or remove chain so that it is at the best height to begin with. This cotton hammock has very thick and durable cording, which is also very soft. The weave is not so loose to make you feel like you could lose a foot or small child in it, like some. The spacer bar comes in a very nice polyurethane cherry finish. I am using this is on a 15' stand and couldn't be happier. last night we had about 350LBs on it, no problems.

Too loose for a good rest! By happy gardener from Lutherville, MD on 05/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The hammock was too wide for our space, but even stretched out to its maximum, the bed of the hammock was just too soft and anyone in it sunk down to the ground. The cording was nice but the weave was far too loose for good support.
By anonymous from tucson, az on 04/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Size, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: plenty big enough and strong enough for two! I have had it for 6 months outside- still good as new. Great hammock...great price.
By Woozle from Trout Lake WA on 03/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Backyard, Families, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is our third hammock like this. As to weathering: of course it will weather if left out for the rainy months. It's cotton! No one should expect otherwise. I saw complaints about it being too stretchy. I don't see this hammock working on one of those hammock stands. If you don't have trees to hang it, I would get a solid fabric one, not a knotted rope hammock. It's the nature the thing to stretch. We locate the ties about as high as I can comfortably reach in our aspens, and I am 5'2".
These are very comfortable for a hot afternoon, and our African gray likes to crawl around on it and enjoy the shade with us while we take a break on a hot summer day. Images shared by: Woozle
Treat yourself to a hammock By Jane the penurious from Lakeland, FL on 03/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Cons: Hard for me to get out of Best Uses: Backyard, Relaxation, Year-round Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Couldn't believe how comfortable I'd be in a hammock.
Why did I wait so long to replace ours? My family loves this new backyard addition.
By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 09/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was looking to replace a 2-person hammock to hang between our back porch supports. This one was long, in fact the perfect length for my space. It hangs up high now, with no need for additional ropes. Easy! I'm sure it will stretch out and sag to normal height, since that's to be expected of cotton rope. The ropes and knots are not flawless, but they are good and soft, with decent quality. Nice end bars too. I'm very happy to have it.
By Lounger1 from Sacramento, CA on 09/07/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The rope was very stretchy and I couldn't get it in a comfortable position. I returned it. Some of the ropes on the ends were twisted.
