By Fritz from Sebastopol , CA on 06/13/2009 Cons: Hard to Keep Clean, Slides Around, Too Narrow Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although the food container is a good design I wouldn't want to use the food and water dishes. Collapses too easily, don't think they'd clean up well and not big enough for a big dog to use easily. Not worth the $$ for container alone.
Great for dogs on the go! By agility competitor from Northern Arizona on 06/12/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Convenient for traveling Describe Yourself: Professional Pet Trainer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used this dog food kit for several years. It is extremely durable. We travel with it to dog agility competitions and find this very useful. Although my adult dogs do not chew on this container, you should be aware that a dog could chew holes in an attempt to get to the food. Be sure to keep it stored up away or have confidence in your dogs. Compact for storing when empty.

My dog is large, over 100 lbs and he is able to drink just fine from the bowl. I haven't used the dog food container but it looks like it will work great for travel.

This is a great set for someone taking a pet on a trip with them.

By Outdoor enthusiast from New Hampshire on 05/31/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Stay Put Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We like the design of this bag. The roll down top is good so you can adjust it to the amount of food in the bag and the pour spout works well. It holds 5-6 days worth of food for one large dog or 3 days for two large dogs (we have a boxer and a golden retriever). The bowls are a little small for our dogs but they do work when you are on the go and in a pinch. The only con I have to share is that the cinch rope on the front broke the first time we used it. It broke from the part that you pull the strings from, so we can still use it, you just have to hold the strings instead of the pull tab.
