By Peggy from AR on 05/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this set for a road trip, but the bowls are simply too large for my 11 lb. dog. Her whole head would disappear before she struck food or water. Looks very sturdy - I gave it to a friend with much larger dogs.
How do you take dog food along? By NM_Bill from Rio Rancho, New Mexico on 05/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Larger Dogs, Older Dogs, Puppies, Smaller Dogs Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Food container is the reason to purchase. It is a hard to find item. The same cannot be said about the soft water bowls. They are certainly functional & sturdy but do not offer spill assurance that spill proof bowls do to better accommodate providing water while in motion traveling.
Useful product for the food container. One would not be motivated to buy in order to get the soft side watering bowls.
Great kit for your canine on the go By Zhara um Nikko from Gleann Abhann on 05/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Stay Put, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Camping dogs, Larger Dogs, Older Dogs, Outdoors, Pic nic dogs, Smaller Dogs Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The design of the bowl is excellent for holding water with less spilling compared to other fabric bowls. Is there some spilling? sure, a little bit, but these are used outdoors, so no harm done. two bowls - one for food one for water, and each bowl large enough that our two dogs easily shared. the pack comfortably holds a weekends' worth of food for a medium-sized German Shepherd and small Tibetan Terrier, the bowls hang on outside the pack thanks to the convenient bungee, and the whole thing has taken the mess of ziploc bags and old tupperware... our camping and day-long trips to events and the woods are now just a bit more tidy. Definitely worth the sale price. Considering these as gifts for our canine friends who also travel.
By New GoldenDoodle Mom from Youngstown, NY on 04/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Larger Dogs, Older Dogs, Outdoors, Puppies Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is great for travel or just for visiting a friends' house for the day. It has a pour spout to dispense the food easily from the bottom of the main bag which is a neat feature. Also, the fabric is super rugged! Great quality for the price.

By Mountain Goat from RAF Mildenhall, UK on 04/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to Clean, Easy To Drink From, Good Depth, Good Height, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband is Active Duty military and we are relocated every 2-3 years and where we go our pets go. This wonderful little food kit has enabled us to travel from the highest peaks of Great Britain to the inactive rims of Japan. I bought ours 5 years ago and it has remained quite durable after countless trips camping and backpacking throughout several countries. I strongly recommend this product for all the traveling dogs out there.
By Camping with Dog from Austin, TX on 04/27/2009 Pros: Easy to Clean, Tough Best Uses: Active Dogs, Outdoors Describe Yourself: New Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I received the product I was a little unsure about how to close it shut. After placing the food in the bag I found a way to roll it down and clasp it closed. The spout was a little hard to use, but it might have something to do with not having the full 15 lbs of dog food it is suppose to hold. I loved the bowls. They came in really handy and my pup enjoyed them to. Really easy to clean up.
