By Zippy from IA on 07/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have four of these chairs and they get a lot of pool side use. Two we have had for two summers and they seem to be holding up nicely. We do not take them in at night or during the rain. The only wear we have noticed is the arms are losing their finish. It is a great chair for the price.
By Hamster from Redding on 07/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Best Uses: Beach, Campgrounds, Patio Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable lounge. Best for folding patio furniture. A bit heavy to lug around with you.
Not holding up as I expected. By furrball from Buhl, ID on 06/23/2009 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up Cons: Not holding up to weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have had these chairs on my deck for less than 2 wks and already I can see the varnish on the armrests flaking off. Very disappointing. I imagine that the wood will crack next.
A great lounge chair for the price. By Wildflowers from New York State on 06/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good back support, Lightweight Cons: A bit difficult to set up Best Uses: As a deck chair Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This chair is very comfortable for me as a 5'3 and 130 lbs. woman. It is just the right size and shape for me. Arm rests are comfortable, good back support, adjustable/removable pillow a plus. The mesh bed of this chair is cool and comfortable. In a sitting position, the lower portion of the chair is too high for feet to touch the ground. Its not to heavy for the amount of comfort this chair offers.
Definitly NOT a Lafuma lounger! By Chillin' on the Deck... from West Shokan, NY on 05/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Dries Quickly, Dual use, Nice color Cons: Bulky, Clunky, Difficult Set Up, Extremely heavy, Hard arm-rests, Heavy, NOT Zero-Gravity, Odd locking device Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I hade previously gotten a Lafuma lounger and absolutely loved it. I was looking for another (at an affordable price) so that both my husband and I could enjoy them. This lounger looked great, and the price weas good, so I purchased one. This is definitely NOT a Lafuma zero-gravity lounger! It's extremely heavy, so you wouldn't want to have to carry it farther than absolutely necessary; It has odd locking levers that only seem to operate in the upright position (totally useless anyway); When compared side by side with my Lafuma in the zero-gravity position, the leg lift of the Lafuma was a full 9" higher, and the head was 4" lower than on the Alps Mountaineering lounger... And the wooden arm-rests may look pretty, but are hard, and not weatherproof. Get the Lafuma!
So nice we wanted to keep it inside! By Bargin Hunter from St. Louis, MO on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy Set Up, Quality product Best Uses: On the deck or patio Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've noticed similar chairs for a lot more.
By BostonDave from Wilmette, IL on 05/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We bought three for our deck and back lawn. Very comfortable and sturdy. We especially like being able to easily lock the recline of chair in any position from straight to fully reclined.
By Birdwoman from Missouri on 05/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Set Up Best Uses: Patio or poolside Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This chair was well worth the money. It's very sturdy and easy to open. Somewhat heavy for me, though, but I don't plan on shlepping it around! I put it on the patio, declared that it was only for me, and I think it'll withstand the outdoors quite well. Very comfortable!
