In my opinion it's great for any physical activity because of it's wicking fabric. Note: If you do not like clothes that will act as a second skin do not even bother with this shirt- it is meant to wear as a second skin, it's not meant to be baggy or loose. If you are a trim and sporty person this is the shirt for you!

It helped me make a great choice. Great fit and feels so warm when I walk in the cold mornings. Great color and style and I am going to look for more Lowe Alpine!
By SAH from Charleston, SC on 08/20/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Athletics, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Practical Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shirt runs VERY small, although it is supposed to be form-fitting. I ordered a small and had to exchange it for a large, which is still skin-tight. I usually wear a 6 or so in tops. Order 1-2 sizes up than you usually would, even if you want it to be tight!
By clothes lover from Columbus Ohio on 07/15/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality Best Uses: Athletics, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Meant for athletics, this would also be a great undergarment for cold climates. Sleeves are too long in relation to the torso which is very tight, even restrictive.

True to its use, it is form fitting. I bought some a size larger than I normally need thinking I could use them as a warm shirt. I couldn't get away with it because it was like a second skin so I returned them. These are not skimpy sirts, best worn over a loose fitting top.
