Great bed, even for cats! I thought it might be too shallow with the bolsters, but he snuggles right in. Now everyone shares the bed, sometimes a few at a time. This size fits 2 cats (or more), 1 medium sized dog or 1 dog and 1 cat!

Pets love it and they can lay their heads on the bolster. The bolster/back is too low and does not protect the back of the seat. It is about 5 inches too low. Sometimes the dogs end up on top of the bolster itself and then their hair gets on the back of the seat. For the small dog it is okay, but for the medium and large dog it is not completely protective of furniture.

I did buy this product twice! I have a Labrador who insists on laying on the bed during the day and this proved to be the perfect compromise. It is easy to take on and off the bed and he loves to lay on it. That worked so well that I ordered the medium size to use on the couch as I didn't want it to take up as much space. I have not had to wash it yet as the tan color is perfect for a yellow labrador.
