I have an older German Shepherd and I wanted something to go in the back of my hatchback to make her more comfortable when we travel. It fits perfectly in the back of my Mazda3 and gives her some traction. It's not very thick but is fine for short trips in the car. Also would be great to put over a dogbed or chair/couch. It's easy to take apart and easy to clean.

She loves it.
I have had it about 1 month and no complaints so far. Overall I'm very happy with it. I've been trying to keep her off the couch and this has been doing the trick. It's not as cushiony as other dog beds but it's meant for a couch. S you will see my lab doesn't seem to mind. Not the best for a large pet By Kiara's dad from Boston on 06/15/2008 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my 45 LB Catahoula that likes to sleep on my leather sofa. Unfortunately the rear bolster takes up so much space that it did not leave her enough room to get comfy, and whenever she did use it the bed would slide around on the couch. One last thing... the bed comes in two pieces (stuffing and cover); the zipper was cheap and broke during assembly. This might be better for a small dog and a cloth sofa.

It is easy to grab and place in the car for travel.

However, it does make a great bolstered dog bed when placed over egg crate foam.

When Tara jumps up on it, it pulls to center so it's not much use. Needs long tails attached to back and sides to tuck under sofa cushions. It worked only a little better on my cloth sofa.I would return it, but I need something like it and will add velcro or something to try to make it work.
