A must have for Outdoorsmen By Gunner from Remer, MN on 10/14/2009 Pros: Bright, convenient, Durable, Long battery life Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used one of these for years and carry it in my pocket every day. It's amazing how many times I use it. I have used it fishing, hunting, hiking, looking for dropped items in dark places, finding keyholes in the dark, and many more uses. It's very light weight and the batteries last a long time. I never leave home without it!
By Flash from USA on 10/07/2009 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best use for this light is in flashing mode as a means of being seen at dusk or dark. Running, biking, hiking at night. It would serve in an emergency for a lighting task.
You never know when you might need it By Jamey from Scottsdale, AZ on 09/22/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have no idea what I'll use this for, but I really like the idea of having a flexible light that is easily attached to any strap. For only a few bucks, why not?
Really small. Bright, but still one LED. By Hiker Chick from Cambridge, MA on 09/06/2009 Pros: Adjustable Beam, Bright, Durable, Long battery life Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This thing is really, really small. The clip design is pretty ingenious and slips onto any standard width strap, even a pack strap. Definitely a great back-up light to have if you're a minimalist. Since it only has one LED, it's not a real headlamp if you intend to night-hike, but it would be great for emergency use or just extra visibility in camp.
By outdoorslivin from Billings, MT on 07/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Long battery life, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Back-up light, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Smaller than I initially thought yet very bright light and the flashing LED in addition to regular bright light beam a bonus! Keep it on my daypack for a back-up all the time. The only thing I wish it did was rotate 360 degrees instead of the 90 to 120 degrees on the strap holder. Otherwise great product for the price.
By dogwalker from boston, ma on 06/04/2009 Best Uses: Walking the dog Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Slid it onto my dog's leash, secured it with a twist tie. Now I have a little light for evening walks. You can also jam the clip onto a baseball hat.

Would not use for primary night hiking, but would have available for emergency backup.
