handy addition to older headlamps By getout from Cleveland, OH on 03/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been tempted to buy a new led headlamp for years, trouble is my old one still works fine. Now for very little money I can have most of the advantages of a new headlamp without tossing a perfectly good and reliable old friend! I just wish they made one with a red light too.
By Macgyver74 from Kingsport TN on 02/24/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great little light. The design is really awesome for its strap mounting possibilities. My biggest con is that it's not all that bright. I still give it a thumbs up regardless!
Not as bright as I wanted By In the dark from Denver on 02/24/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Might be very useful in blinking mode for bicycle use, etc.
Great back up light .5oz! By ecogirl22 from washington dc on 02/17/2009 Pros: Inexpensive back up, Light weight, Useful clip system Cons: Dim, No Beam Adjustment Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Planning my ultralight backpacking trip and this made the cut! Its so tiny, and the clip system is great for putting it on your backpack strap so it's always there. Be aware this is very dim-just one LED and the battery life is only 12-14hrs. This is not something to read a novel by, but it will serve its purpose as a handy backup light very well.
