The stand collapses to a size smaller than the chair itself.
Works Well and is easy to Use By Voyager from Cedar Park, TX on 03/31/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Day trip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This stand worked well for a chair hammock and my 5'3" daughter. It is clearly not meant as a swing, but as a portable stand and functions very well for that use. It is easy to set up and take down, making it great for day trips. It packs into a very small space.
By Robin from Bloomfield, MI on 01/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight Cons: Not supposed to swing Best Uses: Even in my lving room Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I know you're not supposed to swing, but I always do and without any problems. I weigh 125, 5'3". I put my foot on one of the 'legs' and push myself while I read or watch TV.

This is supposed to be a stand for a swing-chair but you cannot move, let alone swing, while using it.
If you do not have the legs extended perfectly when you sit down you end up on the ground with some rather spectacular bruises.
By Sandy from Green Valley, AZ on 06/16/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Does not allow sky chair to swing. Warning states "Do Not Swing"! It makes a portable hanger for the sky chair that you can move where ever you want it put it. However, legs are rather difficult of pull apart. OK for napping and that is about all!
