By emburr from Fort Collins, CO on 10/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Medium Pet Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have them placed in kitchen and living room for my two dogs, a golden mix and collie mix. They are warm but not too warm for them - big bulky seem to make my dogs too hot.
Our dog like this product By thesetwo from Wyoming on 10/28/2009 Best Uses: Medium Pet, Small Pets Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got this for our min-pin and she loves it. She likes to get under the covers on the bed and she knew right away this was for her! Haven't tried to wash it yet so don't know how it will wash.
By Dog Walker from Middleton, WI on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable For Pet, Soft Best Uses: Indoors, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Our 40 lb. Wire-haired Griffon doesn't fit inside but likes to sleep on the top of it with part of his body hanging off.
By LabLady from New Hampshire on 10/27/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets Describe Yourself: Professional Pet Trainer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We use them in dog beds in an indoor setting. Dogs love them. Easy to wash and dry. We don't usually unzip them in the winter but sometimes the dogs do. However, they are relatively easy to re-assemble.
By jkw from Pullman, WA on 10/26/2009 Best Uses: Indoors, Medium Pet, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Just not enough loft in the insulation which makes the bed not very soft.

By C. from Los Alamos, NM on 10/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Soft Best Uses: Indoors, Medium Pet, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My dog is one who likes being covered up at night. This is the perfect bed for her given that it is like a sleeping bag. Thanks Sierra Trading for yet another great item.
My dog loves it, but I have to carry it! By Nathan in Yakima from Yakima, WA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable For Pet, Soft, Thick Cons: Attracts Dirt/Hair, Difficult to Store, Heavy Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets, Medium Pet, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this in hopes that it would work out for backpacking with my pup in colder weather. She's 8mo's, and a little over 50lbs so far. This ended up being a little oversized for her, but she took to it right away. She can curl up or sprawl out and still fit on the bed. She even puts up with the cover being zipped over her for a short time (only used it in the house so far, so she gets up a lot).
The biggest problem I have with this is that it's not very packable. I think it actually weighs more and takes up more room than MY 25°F sleeping bag. While it's great for around the house or car-camping, I'm not looking forward to lugging this thing into the back-country for her. If it packed up small enough, I would stuff it in (or strap it on) her pack, but no such luck.
Still, for a short-coat city dog not used to sleeping outside in the cold, this could be the difference between a miserable puppy, or a warm, comfy pup.
