Dog likes it! What more can you ask for By Montanan from Dillon, Montana on 09/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Soft Best Uses: Medium Pet, Small Pets Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Dog seems to like it, sleeping in longer in the mornings. The zipper unzips to easily but that can be fixed with use of safety pins or sewing it shut. Looking forward to going camping and having the dog not wanting to cuddle into our sleeping bag to stay warm because he will have his own.
Great for cool nights in the tent By Nightmoi from Bellevue, WA on 09/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Soft, Thick, Warm and cozy Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We were skeptical as our dog only likes human sleeping arrangements, but when the nights got cold she appreciated having her own sleeping bag in the tent. She snuggled in and didn't move until morning. It was also great for a muddy dog on the drive home. Easy to wash, a bit bulky. Takes up as much room as our sleeping bag.
By Sketch from Danville, VA on 09/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Car Camping, Medium Pet, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great product. I would have given it 5 stars except it is a tad small, especially for my larger (55lb) Airedale Terrier. It fits the smaller dog (45lb) fine. I have the Abo sleeping pad and it has been bomb proof and I expect this product will perform the same. It is too bulky for backpacking but is great for car camping. Both dogs immediately laid down on it when I took it out of the box. They know it's theirs!
So good...I bought another one!! By Farmer J from Albuquerque, NM on 08/31/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Great size for cleaning, Long Lasting, Soft, Thick, Unzips easily Best Uses: 30lbs or less, Indoors, Medium Pet, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a sleeping bag his own size, that would be easier to clean and deal with than the full size bag I've used. I said for years someone should make one! He has one for his basket and one for the big bed and that way if one is being cleaned he still has one. Makes a great "burrow or cave" to hide in too. I wish I had one my size!
By Workaholic from Cape Cod, MA on 08/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean Best Uses: Indoors, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This dog bed should prove extremely useful in many settings. Only time will tell how durable it will be, but the seam work, fabric content look good.
By Kimberly from Anchorage, AK on 08/20/2009 Cons: To small for 40-60 dogs Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The concept is great. But it is way to small for both my labs (40-60#).
great sleeping nook for canine camping By Emdee from Bay Area, CA on 08/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Soft Cons: Attracts Dirt/Hair, Thin Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great little sleeping bag for the pooch on camping trips--the half-cover works well for my old dog, who doesn't like to burrow. I can cover her up once she's settled and keep her warm overnight, but she can still easily get up and out from the bed without feeling hemmed in. I put it on top of a thicker pad, as it is fairly thin (like a sleeping bag in weight/materials) and doesn't provide much cushioning. The dark blue color does show off dog hair, but it is supposed to be easily washable (though I haven't washed mine yet so cannot attest to this.)
By Rivers Matter from Ft. Collins, CO on 08/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Soft Cons: Doesn't pack small enough, Not for backpacking Best Uses: Indoors, Medium Pet, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Would have liked the product more if it were more packable/smaller packing size for taking backpacking. My dog took to the sleeping bag right away & doesn't mind having covers on so she'll crawl into the bag if I hold the top open. The inner material is soft & the outside is ripstop nylon and is water resistant- I plan on treating it with a water-proofing product. It'll be used for car camping type trips & river trips where my pooch might need a little extra warmth or a defined space of her own. The cat likes it too & leaves his fur behind.
"My nighttime sleeping bag" By intermountain west from intermountain west on 07/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting Cons: Attracts Dirt/Hair, Difficult to Store Best Uses: Large Pets, Medium Pet Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have had this product for over two years. It works very. Perhaps the best part for us is that my dog understands this is her "nighttime" place and she keeps stays tucked in. This is her sleeping bed--she has other places to sleep during the day. We "tuck in" each night and she stays there since it is "her nighttime sleeping space." The flannel like inside does attract hair but it is easy enough to wash. When we wash it, the zippers unzip ed. This worried me that they might break. Now I just put a safety pin just below the zipper when it is zipped up. Viola, no problems. Turning the bag inside out also helps get the fur off.
By Maksie's Mommie from Fremont, CA on 07/25/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Medium Pet, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought 2 of these - one for a dobie/shepherd mix, one for a chi. A little small for the big dog (she doesn't care). Pleasantly surprised at how thick the bottom side is. Had not expected the stuff-it bag (maybe I didn't read description thoroughly). Haven't washed yet, but seem well made. Dogs love 'em.
