My first set of hiking poles and I love them. Great for a balanced workout and good protection when descending. They are strong, light and easy to adjust.
Go get them

Comments: We are planning our trip to Mt. Whitney and had to get all our gear. We based our decisions on price, reviews, weight etc. These are a great value. I had one of the 2 pairs we purchased on rare occas. collapse, but otherwise had no complaints.

Comments: The only slight drawback I noticed is the propensity of the anti-shock mechanism to switch state by itself during use, probably because of vibrations (mostly on hard, rocky terrain), which is not that much of a problem anyway. Other than that, they are of very good quality, have truly wear resistant tips, are light, take normal accidents (e.g. caught tips, hits, sudden load increase etc.) very well and, used correctly, will make your hiking experience much more pleasurable and safer. Make sure you clean them properly after every trip and know how use and to maintain them! This will prevent you getting into trouble such as stuck segments or failure to lock.

Comments: I used the poles while hiking in Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Felt like they were an extension of my body actions, enabling me to climb better and get good traction when descending. The decision to purchase these poles was just the right thing.

Comments: i went to philmont last year and was not a beliver in poles, so my knees suffered. after philmont i decided i should get some poles because i saw that i was in more pein than people with poles. i chose these poles because i wanted something that would last me. this past weekend i did the Mathews arm loop, this consists of a 5000 foot decline over a mile and a half. these poles saved my knees and allowed me hike strong the entire trip. i am a scout, and would recommended these poles to anybody thinking of backpacking.
