Good addition to hiking experiences. By Karen from the mountains from Asheville, NC on 09/12/2007 Pros: Adjustablecompact, Good grips, Lightweight Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Compact for travel, light weight makes poles a pleasure to take along. A great way to minimize the impact of hiking on joints even for the very fit hiker. Great choice.
By Jason Adventure from San Diego, CA on 09/11/2007 Pros: Good grips, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These trekking poles were a must when i went backpacking in the mountains. Lots of rocky terrain made these poles very useful. Great grips and very light. Poles caught me many times and never showed any signs of breaking or bending. STRONG STUFF!!
