I used it to hold items for a backyard BBQ.
table has great space, but falls short By lefty in abq from albuquerque, nm on 05/21/2008 Cons: Difficult Set Up, difficult to transport Best Uses: Beach, Campgrounds, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The biggest downfall of this table is that the base doesn't break down, so for its 2 poles you need 6ft of room while the entire rest of the table breaks down to an average of 3ft. A simple shaft-in-shaft design (the way many kayak paddles work, for example) would have allowed the poles to break-down to the same size as the table-top parts. Then storage and transportation would be much simpler. As it is, you need a truck or trailer. To use for river trips, as I plan to, will require quite a bit of rigging.
The table top itself has more parts than it needs and has to be fussed with quite a bit. Overall bad design.
This table is a great value! By betsy from San Marino, CA on 05/19/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Campgrounds, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My 9 and 11 year olds were able to pack, carry, set up and take down this lightweight table. (I showed them the process once). It was so simple! We used it on a camping trip this weekend and we cannot wait to use it again.
Nice portability, small parts though By Stooter from Great Falls, MT on 05/19/2008 Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice sized table. Great for car camping, or group float trip where it can be lashed on. However, connectors for the tabletop to the stand are small pieces to keep track of. If they were intergrated like other models, would be great.
Performance exceeded expectations! By Type A - Perfectionist! from Murrieta, CA on 05/19/2008 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips, Outdoor Events, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Assembly can be a little tedious because of number of parts. Also handful of plastic pieces might fall off & get lost. Other then that, great table for events, camping & as an additional table whilst entertaining. Much lighter, more compact then any foldable table I ever had. Love the look too!
By AJR from Albuquerque NM on 05/14/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy Set Up, Made of Aluminum, Sturdy Cons: Easy lost critical parts, Nearly 5 ft Long Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Outdoor Events Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this table because it is metal and I can sit my Hibachi on one side and cook, and still have the other half of the table free. Easy to set up, except for the first time. One con is that there are critical plastic parts that can easily be lost. Another con is the tabletop is held together with flexible 'bungee' style string, which could fail over time. But all in all, this is a fine table for car camping.
