Buy a lot for use on smooth surfaces By Chris from BG, OH on 01/12/2009 Pros: Needed for smooth surface Cons: Grip ridges wear easily Best Uses: Walking on smooth surface Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pole tips are essential for using Komperdell Walking Poles on hard, smooth surfaces (excluding ice) such as mall floors or concrete sidewalks. Frequent use wears off the gripping ridges so buy a lot if you use the poles for exercise walking indoors.
By Rust Never Sleeps from Chigasaki, Kanagawa, Japan on 12/27/2008 Cons: Slipperly, Unstable, Wears fast Best Uses: Around town, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Disappointed in material quality.
Weas fast and slipperly (maybe the shape).
I usually use Leki brand poles and they have
really good rubber tips.
So I tried to put Leki tip, but not compatible for Komperdell's.
But these tips are the "must" if you use
Komperdell's around town or at home.
