We liked it so much, we ordered two more. Time will tell how well it weathers, but one month into hanging in full sun on our porch and it still looks like new.
By McKay from Greenville, SC on 08/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Relaxation, Year-round Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We had visited a home in the mountains that had the same exact chairs. When I ran across these I couldn't pass them up. They are very relaxing and provides a zero gravity support which is great for my back. Only problem is that I will have to reajust the hight as the ropes have streched a bit and is now to low to the ground. Kinda expected that would happen. But other than that.. we love them.
By C.J. from Ohio on 08/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Size, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my husband as an anniversary gift. He always wanted a hammock and this more than fits the need. It's very comfortable for relaxing in, but the grandkids fight over it!
Great Chair - Especially for the Price By cocabolo from Hampden, ME on 08/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We use this product indoors and everyone in the family loves it. It is a great way to keep our three year old occupied when she can't get outside as well as being a relaxing spot to read a book. It's a excellect price for a quality product.
Not much to look at... but, great chair By Matt from Delray Beach, FL on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Backyard, Families, Relaxation, Year-round Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Do you remember the bouncey swings that you may have hung from (often set up in a door frame) as a little one? Well, this chair has the same effect... without the bounce (unless you were to rig a garage-door spring to the top). Since the leg-rest and the chair hang off of the same pivot point, it moves as one unit (a big plus). It's too early to comment on the durability, but I am 200+ pounds and has no problem lugging me. For the price... it's a great deal.
By skier from West Chester, OH on 08/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Backyard, Families, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This chair is very comfortable and very durable.
Arm rests really aren't very comfortable after a little while. They are too high and without them, sides of chair tend to cut into your arms.
But how do you set it up? By d from Minneapolis, MN on 07/31/2009 Best Uses: Backyard, Families, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was almost impossible to figure out how to attach the big O ring that the chair hangs from. It's easy when you know how--just a lark's head knot--but it's not obvious and took my calling 3 times to get enough info.
By Julie from Ocala, Fl on 07/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Setup Best Uses: Backyard, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The chair is easy to set up and comfortable to sit in. The arm rests are useless as they are at an awkwardly high level. The cup holder is also awkward as your drink would swing over your head. But remove these and it's very comfy to sit and enjoy the summer breeze. For the price compared to others, it's not bad.
By Bargain Betty from NC on 07/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband hung this chair on our side porch. I absolutely love it! It is very comfortable, durable, and well made. I think it's a bargain. I only wish it could recline somehow for more relaxation. It is a chair, not a hammock or a chaise, though it would be nice if it had the ability to lay back.
By StankaSauras from Roan Mtn., TN on 07/18/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy Setup, Good Size, Quality Construction Best Uses: Backyard, Relaxation Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice Chair, but the key word is chair. I was expecting it to sit more like a chair hammock hybrid and it was more upright than I had expected.
Once you get used to the idea that it is not going to lean back its actually in a great position to work on a laptop or read a book.
I have it set up hanging 10ft down from the ceiling on the back deck and the long rope lets you really fly around with a good push, everybody want to 'go for a ride' on the chair.
